Automation with Altova Products
Mappings can be executed in a server environment (Windows and Linux servers) by the following Altova transformation engines (licensed separately):
•RaptorXML Server: Suitable if the transformation language of the mapping is XSLT 1.0-3.0 or XQuery. See Automation with RaptorXML Server.
•MapForce Server: Suitable if the transformation language of the mapping is Built-In (MapForce Professional or Enterprise editions). See Automation with MapForce Server.
In addition, the MapForce command-line interface provides the ability to automate various tasks such as:
•Opening mappings
•Generating mapping code
•Compiling mappings for MapForce Server (Professional and Enterprise editions)
•Generating code for projects (Professional and Enterprise editions)
•Creating log files
•Comparing mappings
