The Start Page of Altova Contract Manager provides you with user access to your organization's Contract Manager data, and enables you to edit this data. If you want to configure the system or carry out administration tasks, click Configure Contract Manager. This will take you to the Configuration Page, from where you can access the various system administration tasks.
When you start Altova Contract Manager for the first time, it will contain starter contract data that is organized in a simple structure. The starter data enables you explore how Contract Manager's data is organized and how the data can be used. You can use the starter data to become familiar with the system. Once you are ready, you can delete the sample data and modify the data hierarchy to suit your requirements. Any changes that you make will be implemented immediately and will be available to users immediately. As a result, you can start your contract management work (both administration and data entry) as soon as you want.

System administration can be concurrent with system use
You can reconfigure the database, add new forms, change settings, and carry out other administration tasks even after users have started working with the system. Any admin changes you make will be reflected on the user side as soon as the user interacts with the system.
