MobileTogether Data Sources

Mobile Together Data Sources

Deliver Your Data with Style and Speed

Getting the information to populate your charts, tables, forms, and other design elements is simple with the MobileTogether Designer.

The MobileTogether Designer can access information in XML or JSON documents, retrieve data from the web via HTTP request, or query relational databases. You can even load data processes via Altova FlowForce Server.

You can even combine data from databases along with XML, JSON, and HTML data in a single app.

Given its ubiquity in today’s information landscape, XML is the key data source for enterprise apps. Whether it’s accessing XML from in-house data or pulling it from the Web, the MobileTogether lets you visualize and work with it in new and innovative ways.

MobileTogether supports the most prevalent relational databases as data sources or targets for any mobile solution. It includes an easy to use Database Connection Wizard for all the SQL DBs listed at the right.

HTML and Web Services

MobileTogether makes it easy to access and process data in HTML files or via an HTTP request with parameters. MobileTogether also supports SOAP and REST technologies for communicating with remote servers to request data in XML, JSON or HTML formats.

MobileTogether can directly load or save JSON data from files, over the Web via HTTP or FTP, or from Web services. MobileTogether automatically converts JSON to XML for use internally, so XPath and XQuery functions can be used manipulate JSON data inside a MobileTogether app.

Mobile Together provides rich support for data retrieval via REST
