Data Objects

Data is represented by five modeling elements and are inserted by clicking one of the following icons:


ic-datObj Data Object

Represents information flowing through the process, e.g. emails, business documents, etc. Data objects provide information about what activities require to be performed and/or what they produce.


ic-datOutput Data Output

Represents the result of the process.


ic-datInput Data Input

Is an external input for the entire process. Can be read by an activity.


ic-datCollect Data Collection

Represents a collection of information e.g. a list of order items.


ic-datStore Data Store

A place where the process can read or write data e.g. a database.
