Topic: Issues Opening Larger File
Posted: Tuesday, February 19, 2019 6:59:26 PM
Anyone having issues opening larger json files with xmlspy grid view?

I have ~141MB file and XMLSPY crashed when switching to grid view. I'm using a brand new $3000 DELL dell 5290 with an intel i7-8650CPU and 16GB of memory using Windows 10 OS.

Usually if your memory is 10 times the size of your file, your okay but my memory exceeds the size of this file by 16 times. XMLSPY consumes around 400MB after opening the file goes a bit more than a gig after switching to grid view. I've also played with the validate option and it validates if I bump the limit up to 200MB, but it crashes regardless of what I set this to.

Did find much on this in support or in the forum on this issue...
