Hello:
I recently upgraded from diffdog 2017 to trial version of diffdog server 2021.
When I execute DiffDogCmdClient diff --mode=xml file1.xml file2.xml (whereby both file1 & file2 are 2.5 MB xml files),
I received the following error:
[ERROR] A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or e
stablished connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.

DiffDogCmdClient talks to a running instance of DiffDog Server. Do you have the service running? Is it running on the same machine as the client?
Perhaps it would be better to ask Altova Support for help here.
