I have a device that automatically triggers an http post event to a programmable IP / Port. If you stand up a TCP Server with that port open you can see the POST and the data. I've used Mapforce in the past to map XML to SQL but these were files in a directory. The files updated via FTP, and you could schedule a windows task every x seconds to map the data. Worked beautfully. However, this is a little different.

Does mapforce have the ability to run as a TCP Server and map/import? The same post sends each time, but the data packet inside obviously changes.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Neither MapForce not MapForce Server run as a service, but I'm sure you can accomplish your goals using FlowForce Server.

You can even expose a job as a web service if need be.
