Hi,

we have several enum-typs ( gender, color, customergroup, customersegment, ....) .

The values are stored in an database in form number / value pairs ( e.g.

EnumNumber, EnumValue
1 red
2 yellow
3 green

Internally will be used the EnumNumber, otherwise the EnumValue. Is there any way to use the enums on the same way in Altova XMLSpy during editing an XML file ?

That means, Altova XMLSpy stores the EnumNumber, but displays the EnumValue ?

Thanks a lot in advance,

Michel
