Hi, I was wondering,

- if StyleVision is able to generate an encrypted PDF (where the User has to provide a password to open it).
- if StyleVision is able to generate a 3D PDF (where an 3D Object (e.g. an STL file) is shown and rotateable by the user).

Thank you for your information!

StyleVision uses Apache FOP to produce PDF output. Apache FOP appears to support encryption, so perhaps you can customize the installed fop.bat to access that functionality. The fop.bat file is described a bit on the PDF Fonts page in StyleVision's documentation.

As for 3D PDF, I don't believe Apache FOP supports any 3D capabilities, but feel free to correct me if that's wrong. Since Apache FOP works with XML, I would imagine it far more likely that they might support X3D in the future rather than the not-XML STL.
