XPath + XQuery
XPath and XQuery are query languages used to navigate and manipulate XML data. While XPath is primarily for selecting and navigating XML elements, XQuery is a full-fledged language for querying, transforming, and combining XML data. In fact, XQuery is an extension of XPath.
While originally designed for working with XML, the newest version of XQuery also supports querying JSON.
