passwd
Syntax and description
Sets a new password for the user specified in the username argument..
authenticserver passwd [options] Username NewPassword |
•The Username argument is the login name of the Authentic Server user.
•The NewPassword argument is the new passowrd to be assigned to the user specified by the Username argument.
•Use the --h, --help option to display information about the command.
Example
Examples of the createuser command:
authenticserver passwd MyUserName MyNewPwd
•The command creates a new password for the user with the login name MyUserName.
Options
--config = FILE Specifies an alternative configuration file to extend and override the installed configuration file. This is safer than modifying the original configuration file. Also see the topic Config File. |
