Whether you are working in a COM-capable (including .NET) or Java world, you can access the XMLSpy APIs to utilize the power of XMLSpy® 2012 in your own project.

At the core of the XMLSpy COM API and Java API is the XMLSpy® 2012 Object Model, which gives a developer programmatic access to the XMLSpy® 2012 application, all open documents, views, and the XML data contained therein:

In addition, XMLSpy® 2012 ships with Java, C#, and JScript examples that demonstrate how to utilize the APIs to automate XMLSpy from different development environments. Depending on the language, these sample projects may be compiled and run in Eclipse or Visual Studio, or called from the command line.
