XML Editor for SQL Server

In addition to its support for working with data in relational databases, XMLSpy provides specialized functionality for working with XML data in Microsoft® SQL Server®, including viewing and editing XML fields, and working with XML Schemas in the database.

XMLSpy® 2012 includes support for viewing and editing XML fields in SQL Server 2005 and 2008. When a SQL Server database field contains an XML document, the Database Query window in XMLSpy allows you to open it in Text or Grid View, where you can view and edit the document with full validation and well-formedness checking. XMLSpy® 2012 also supports registering and/or dropping XML Schemas in the database, and viewing and editing them in the graphical XML Schema editor.

SQLXML 3.0 XSD Mapping Schemas

XMLSpy provides support for Microsoft SQL Server 2000 schema extensions for use with SQL Server. Using these schema extensions allows you to configure and customize how Microsoft SQL Server stores XML documents. These XML documents are then accessible through SQL queries and legacy tools.

You can also edit the SQLXML XSD Mapping Schemas in the graphical XML Schema editor.
