Authentic® 2012 offers non-technical users the ability to query and edit relational database content through easy-to-use electronic forms with the benefits of real-time validation, pre-populated fields, drop down menus, and other useful guides. Authentic is available as either a desktop application or a browser plug-in.

Authentic enables database administrators to deploy intuitive electronic forms enterprise-wide, allowing non-technical users to update database fields directly, reducing transcription errors and data redundancy. For example, call center workers can update address and phone number information directly at the source in real-time, rather than waiting for a database editor or data entry specialist to do this for them.

Authentic users edit database data in real-time based on normative stylesheet designs created in StyleVision® 2012, that enable them to view content sequence and structure as it will appear in the target delivery format(s). In addition, StyleVision’s native single source publishing capabilities mean that Authentic eForms can also be instantly rendered in HTML, RTF, PDF, and Microsoft® Word 2007+ (OOXML).

Authentic offers a graphical interface with a wide variety of user-friendly features to make editing database data easy for non-technical users while eliminating the learning curve associated with database familiarity and interaction.

User-friendly features like the Edit Database Query dialog, easy table navigation, a date picker, and real-time validation, provide users with guidance during the database query and data entry process.

Supported Databases

Database connections are managed through StyleVision – when you create an electronic form in StyleVision the database connection is stored with the design. Connection is via ADO, ODBC, or JDBC.

The following databases are supported:
