UML Profile DiagramsUModel® 2012 supports profile diagrams introduced to the UML specification in revision 2.2. The UModel profile diagram allows you to define custom stereotypes, tag definitions, and constraints in a dedicated UML diagram. Your customizations are defined in a profile, which is then applied to a package. Creating UML Profile DiagramsIt’s simple to create a new profile in the Model Tree and add it to a new profile diagram by dragging it over to the drawing pane.
Next, you can drag an existing package into the diagram as well, and apply your profile to the package.
You can add a new custom stereotype using the profile diagram toolbar.
New stereotypes added to the profile are displayed similarly to classes and stereotype definitions are added like class properties.
Applying a UML Custom StereotypeAfter your definition is complete and you add your custom stereotype to a class, your definitions will appear in the properties window and the values are also displayed as a note in a diagram tag.
