I am converting Excel to XBRL , I was successful in taking Excel data in the format of rows.
But I need to map an Excel File to XBRL where the given Excel file format is as :
Data value1 value2 value3…
Data value1 value2 value3…
As Altova map force is loading the values as rows , I have converted my Excel columns to Rows but I have a problem .I just mapped my source Excel File(IFRS2009 Sample Instance.xlsx) columns to rows (in destination excel “show single cells item for all columns is enabled ). As in figure: Newcoltoroedesign-Copy.mfd

Now the output Excel File I got is correct i.e. it is in the format
Data Data Data…..
Value Value Value……(I checked it in output tab. “xlsx-mapforce.xlsx” File attached).
But with I cant map to XBRL as cells are grouped as single item. Now, I enabled the option “Show separate items for columns”. As in figure: Newcoltorowdesign.mdf

Original Labels of the cells are not being displayed instead A,B,C…. are displayed .I require original labels to map to XBRL and also when I see output excel file doesn’t contain data only it has values . as in figure:excel2.xlsx

Even then the final output when I map to XBRL is correct “Finaloutput.xbrl” file, it has no meaning because I am mapping these values by checking the Original Excel file data from outside.
If labels are displayed directly it can be mapped from the excel to XBRL in tool itself.
