One feature I really miss after moving from other (free) diff tools, is the ability to hide all matching text blocks, leaving only the differences on screen. This may be difficult to achieve when comparing XML documents, but I wish this feature could be added for plain text files at least.
Topic: Bug in case study?

I was reading through Case Study – Altova Develops a System for Scheduled Data Conversion mentioned in the August 2007 newsletter, and I think I found a bug in that solution.

The source XML document contains currency exchange data going all the way back to January 1999, with the day stored in the "time" node, yet the MapForce screen shots indicate that there is no connection from the "time" node in the source XML to the destination database. How can this app be inserting the correct day's rate into the database? Is it relying on sort order?
