morning. i have an xml file with a base64 (xsd:base64Binary) filedata. i want to extract image data from my xml and generate the image file. to do so i want to use mapforce to inject base64 data in a txt file. after that i use an external decoder to generate image file.
is it possible ? my attempt fail because it seems i'm not able to generate a valid txt data file.
tx, milko.

The right tool for this is StyleVision, not MapForce. Since version 2011r2 it supports extracting embedded images encoded in base64 from XML file.
See example EmbeddedImages.sps which extracts images encoded in ProductLine.xml input file.

Please take a look at the section:
"Inserting an image that is encoded text" on the following page:

ok i don't have stylevision 11 rel 2. so i need to use mapforce to create an ascii text file from base64 data stored inside xml file. after that i use a commandline utility to decode base64 ascii text file to jpg.
do you think is it possible ?
