Hello all,
The company I work for is considering using the altova suite as an interim solution for our metadata needs. It has been tasked to me to basically validate the product based off our needs.
My question is as follows:
What is the average learning time (using only the online tutorials and videos) needed to adequately utilize the tool (specifically XMLspy and Mapforce). This is assuming that the person being taught has minimal experience with XML coding and related functions. I am trying to present an overview detailing a realistic timeframe that people can be "trained" in.
Thanks for all the help and I apologize if this has been asked a million times already.
regards.

It took me a couple days to go thru the tutorials for MapForce, code generation, functions and library were trial by fire. Don

With everything there is some learning time but with the Altova Suite to be honest its much faster and easier than others.

It depend upon the quality of content and type of content and how it is presented. If it is simple and easy to understandable then the time duration will be less.

It's great to know that learning altova is easy. This way, I can just study everything during my free time, which is rarely these days.
