hi, there.

is there some way to reuse soap requests in xmlspy enterprise? when i create one, run it and save it, all is well.

but when i close and reopen, the option, "send soap request" is grayed out. is there a way around this?

thanks.

ps. i think this post belongs here ... ? is there any advice for newbies to this forum? i am having a difficult time understanding where i should put my xmlspy questions. thanks!

Hi ankimo,

there is no way around this i.e. you will have to create a new soap request (and then copy the contents of the xml file into the file created for the soap request).

Hi Ankimo,

actually there is another way.. however it may just be such as much work as the copying and pasting as I mentioned before:

You can open the saved soap request and then in the SOAP menu select "Change SOAP request parameters". There you can change the connection endpoint and enter the soap action and then you can send the soap request
