Hello,
I use XMLSpy 2007 service pack 1, Enterprise. With StyleVision 2009 I have created a “sps” style sheet. When I would like to use the Authentic-View in XMLSpy with the created style sheet, then XMLSpy show an Exception, that he have made a mistake and must be closed. After them, I can’t open my XML-File. But, when I delete in the prolog of the XML-File <?altova… C:/…/style.sps> then XMLSpy would open the XML-File in the Text-View. I tried the sps style sheet with Authentic 2009, there was no problem, when I create a XML-File. Have anyone an idea, where the problem is?

The exception should not have happened, but the reason for your issue is that Authentic View in XMLSpy 2007 is simply unable to use SPS files created in StyleVision 2009, because the later has features which are not supported by older versions. You will need to upgrade to XMLSpy 2009 in order to keep both applications in sync.
