Hello,

is there a quick way to mark (highlight) everything between a start and an end tag inside an xml document, when editing in text-mode (e.g. for copy/paste) ?

I know the way to switch to grid-view an back to text-view, or to use CTRL-E to jump between start and end tag.

But is there realy no shortcut or mouse action to perform this step ?

Thanks
Klaus

There is a toolbar button "Text View Settings" which among other things allows you to see all available key shortcuts.

Ctrl-Shift-E will select a complete XML element

Hello Vlad,
thanks for the hint to Text View Button.

I checked this, but in my version
(German Prof Edition version 2011 rel. 2)
there is no shortcut for Ctrl-Shift-E.

Any further advices ?

Greetings
Klaus
