Hi,

We are in the process of reverse engineering of a project. During that process we are trying to include some .jar files using Altova 2009 Umodel by "Import Binary Type" option. If we include a single jar, it shows some errors and shows some of the class file (not all).
We had also tried including all the jars and able to get 0 error and 0 warning, but it is not showing even a single class imported under Model Tree.

Any help or suggestion will be a great help.

Thanks in advance,
Shishir

Hi,

did you also activate the checkboxes of the jar files where you want to import types from (as described here)?

Hi Cor,

I had selected the required checkboxes as mentioned in the link.
In my case, the process is going till "Finished binary type conversion" and it is not going for "
Starting update model from code".

Please let me know in case of more information required.

Thanks,
Shishir

Hi Shishir!

Before "Finished binary type conversion" => do you see several "Converting Type: xx" messages (showing which types were found in your jar file)?

Do you see an error in the messages windows ("... finished binary type conversion - x error(s), y warning(s)")?

Maybe you can send a small sample to our support center?

Hi!

Please can you send a small sample to our support center that we can reproduce this?
