Altova Authentic Community Edition

Authentic® 2010 Community Edition is a FREE content editor that allows non-technical business users to easily view and edit data in XML documents and relational databases without being exposed to the underlying technology. Authentic electronic forms are designed and easily modified using StyleVision.

Authentic is available as a desktop application or browser plug-in, so you can use it in both your distributed Web applications and your desktop solutions.

Altova XSLT 1.0/2.0, XQuery, and Validation Engines

AltovaXML® 2010 is an XML processor that includes engines that drive the award-winning XMLSpy®, MapForce®, and StyleVision® development tools for use in your custom applications - royalty-free! AltovaXML is a single download that includes the following:

• XML validating parser
• XSLT 1.0 engine
• XSLT 2.0 engine (schema-aware)
• XSLT 2.0 engine (schema-aware)
• XQuery 1.0 engine (schema-aware)
• XBRL validation engine

AltovaXML includes COM, Java, and .NET interfaces so that it can be used from a variety of different applications, and you can also call its functionality from the command line. It is a free executable file available for royalty-free use in your applications. Learn more and download AltovaXML now!

Third-party XSLT and XSL:FO Processors

XMLSpy® 2010 features an extensible XML transformation engine interface that allows you to optionally plug in an external XSLT or XSL:FO processor to drive XML transformations directly from within XMLSpy. The XSLT 1.0 and 2.0 engines in XMLSpy are also available for free use in your applications (see above).

Libraries

XSLT Libraries

MapForce allows you to reuse existing XSLT libraries, such as the XSLT Standard Library in your mapping projects. Download XSLT libraries.

EDI Libraries

MapForce supports the most recent UN/EDIFACT, ANSI X12, and Health Level 7 (HL7) configuration files, as well as those for all previous years. Download EDI libraries.

Industry Templates

Altova XMLSpy, StyleVision, and Authentic all ship with a collection of industry standard templates, including DITA, DocBook, etc., which allow easy editing of standards-based in Altova Authentic View.

Altova periodically updates these industry standard templates to include new standards. You can download these new templates - provided as WinZIP files - and update your installed Altova software by simply unzipping the archive into your installation folder.

Databases

Altova MissionKit tools are well-suited for working with XML alongside relational databases and XML databases, and several leading database providers include special support for XMLSpy. Learn more and download database components.

Source/Revision Control Systems

XMLSpy comes with a built-in SCC interface that supports a wide variety of prevalent source control systems, enabling you to easily access and manage your source code within a team development environment.
