To understand the differences between the Trusted and Untrusted versions, please keep in mind the following:- The Trusted version does not allow access to local files and is, therefore, marked "Safe for Scripting"; it can be used in a browser-based scenario and can be invoked from any Web page without causing security alerts on the client side
- The Untrusted version is intended for Intranet deployment, or for using as an ActiveX control in your application; it provides access to local files and is, therefore, NOT marked "Safe for Scripting"; if you try to use this version from within a Browser window, it will ask the user for permission
Authentic Browser Plug-in Enterprise Edition 64-bit version- The 64-bit version of our software requires a 64-bit operating system (i.e. a 64-bit version of Windows Vista or Windows 7) to operate whereas the 32-bit version can be used on both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows. The Authentic Browser Plug-in Enterprise Edition 64-bit version supports Internet Explorer only. The Authentic Browser Plug-in Enterprise Edition 32-bit version supports Internet Explorer and Firefox.
