A xbrl.XPathExpression class represents an XPath expression in the DTS.

class xbrl.XPathExpression

Proper instances of this class will be created within RaptorXML only, instantiation from script code will throw a NotImplementedError exception.

xbrl.XPathExpression.containing_element

Returns an xml.ElementInformationItem object which represents the containing element of the XPath expression.

xbrl.XPathExpression.expression

Returns the XPath expression as string.
