The xlsx library contains functions that primarily convert data to or from Excel date and time formats. The date-to-xlsx, datetime-to-xlsx, and time-to-xlsx functions are typically useful to write date and time values to a target Excel sheet. The xlsx-to-date, xlsx-to-datetime, and xslx-to-time functions are typically useful to convert date and time values from a source Excel sheet into values of type xs:date, xs:time, and xs:dateTime.
