Topic: Match height of nested table with parent cell height in pdf
Posted: Wednesday, January 4, 2012 9:12:15 AM
Hi,
I have a requirement in pdf, where i am nesting a table in cell of a parent table. Now when i populate the table cell in the parent table and the content does not wrap, it's fine (i.e, the height of the nested table row is same as parent table row). But when the content in the table cell of the parent table wraps to the next line there is a height mismatch between nested table cell and parent table cell. Is there any way to rectify this, in lines of nested table inheriting characteristics of parent table.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to set the width of your internal table to 100%.

Also, you will have to set some column width, otherwise it will always be dynamically calculated.

Thanks for the reply vlad...

However in my case the number of columns in internal table is dynamically calculated. The number of columns in table depends on the input xml. In such a scenario how will I be able to set the column width to individual columns.

Hi,

We have a requirement where we have to insert a table in a column in another table. The table gets inserted. However the margins of the inserted table are not aligned properly with the source table in html format.

Is it possible to achieve the same.

I have attached the sps and xml files.

Hi,

I want to sort the values in a table column excluding the last value.

(e.g) If the values in my column are

zebra
art
total

Then it should be sorted as given below excluding the last value.

art
zebra
total

Is it possible to perform this in sps?

Hi,

I have added a table in sps format. On html preview the table appears properly.
However the table disappears in pdf preview.

Topic: format-number is shown as unknown function
Posted: Friday, December 16, 2011 6:43:40 AM
Hi,

I am using altova stylevision 2011. I used the following function in the autocalculation field.
format-number(number(.div 1000),'#0.000')

While viewing the preview, data appears correctly for html format. However in authentic preview, questions marks are seen instead of data and tooltip shows "Unknown function".

Hi vlad,

I tried using,
string-join(for $i in 1 to string-length(.) return substring(.,$i,1),codepoints-to-string(8203))

This works fine for pdf. However,I create reports in html format also.In html format, after making the above change the data appears corrupted in the report.

What StyleVision version are you using? What FOP version?

Also, attach your files here for testing.

Sorry vlad,
The issue was observed only in the case of long words without spaces.
StyleVision version : 10
FOP version : 0.95

I have also attached the files.
Topic: XTSE1650 error
Posted: Monday, December 12, 2011 9:49:11 AM
Hi,

I am using altova stylevision 2010.

When I try to generate the report I get the following error.

Error at xsl:import-schema on line 7 column 8 of abc.xslt:
XTSE1650: To use xsl:import-schema, you need the schema-aware version of Saxon from http://www.saxonica.com/

I found one workaround: I removed the line with the xsl:import-schema that fixed the issue

But is there any other way I can fix the issue without removing the xsl:import-schema

regards,
Anand.
