Thanks, it worked. Was marking default database, seems like we can select the database from the Database Query screen.

Tried connecting the local SQL server express 2014 instance to XMLSPY. Always getting the same login failed error message even when the Connectivity test passes. Any clue so as to resolve this issue would be welcomed.
