Topic: Calling gRPC services
Posted: Monday, February 7, 2022 6:50:22 AM
Hi,

Is it possible to call gRPC services from Mapforce? I tried downloading the latest version and there doesn't seem to be any option for it - so just wondering if I am missing something or is it currently not possible to call gRPC services?
Topic: Integrating MapForce ActiveX component in C# WinForms application
Posted: Tuesday, May 3, 2016 2:31:38 PM
I am trying to use the Mapforce ActiveX component in a C# WinForms application.

According to the documentation at http://manual.altova.com/mapforce/mapforceenterprise/index.html?integpl_csintroduction.htm, the components need to be added to the toolbox first. However I cannot fine the "AxMapForceControl, AxMapForceControlDocument and AxMapForceControlPlaceholder" components under the ".NET Framework Components" tab. The desgin view also does not load for the froms where the active X controls are added.(https://i.imgsafe.org/5b613bf.png).

The solution compiles and executes, however the MapForce designer shows in a small box in the top left corner rather than in the winforms application iteslf (https://i.imgsafe.org/1280902.png)

Anybody got any ideas about this?
