Hello all,

Anyone know if the new version 2013 SP1 has broken or changed check boxes?

I have a stylesheet that was happily producing an output from database fields and showing a tick in a checkbox if the value was yes, true or 1.

Now in the updated version, it just shows a #.

cheers,
Neil

What output are you talking about? HTML? PDF? If PDF - what FOP version?

Is there a solution for this issue of displaying # instead of a check box in version 2013?

When the PDF displays, the # symbol is showing instead of the check box. The file is saved as an XSTL v1.0. This appears to be coming from the XSLT being generated by saving generated XSLT-FO in the 2013 version. The XSLT indicates if "True" or "1" display a checked check box using unicode value of ☑ otherwise displays a check box using unicode value of ☐.

Anything created in version 2012 that has not been changed still displays the check box and does not have the ☐ in the otherwise statement.

Any assistance getting past this issue would be appreciated.

We may have found the issue. The individual having this issue is using Enterprise Edition version 2013 rel. 2 (x64) on their machine, where as other users have just Enterprise Edition version 2013.
