I have an XMLSchema that has several child nodes under a parent. I have an auto generated ID as primary key for this record in the parent table.
When I insert data from XML file to this table, i want to be able to insert the primary key of parent into the table with Child schema. Since the Id is generated after insert into parent, I want mapforce to use the ID created and map it to a column in child.
Can this even be done?

Look at the example mapping "Altova_Hierarchical_DB.mfd" that comes with MapForce. It shows how MapForce automatically fills the foreign key in related tables with the primary key from the parent table.
