I have the element numberofcopies in a working XML file with lots of other data. (For example: <numberofcopies>3</numberofcopies>)

Based on the above, I would need to generate a single PDF output file which should include all 4 documents... saying on the first 'Original', on the second '1st copy', etc. ...dinamically until the number of copies are reached.

I'm quite poor experienced currently with StyleVision and looking for a solution how I can achieve the above.

Anyone who could assist me with a detailed description what I can do to achieve my goal?

Thanks in advance!

Cheers,

William

Have a look at the attached example. I leave the extra work of appending the st, rd, and th suffixes to the copy number to you.

File Attachment(s):
example.pxf (70kb) downloaded 304 time(s).

Hi,

Thanks a lot... just had a look on what you've sent.

I forgot to mention some important stuff: (sorry, that I've missed it earlier)

- I need a solution for FOP 1 and XSLT 1.0
- I've got headers and footers as well and when I populate the form with data, the result is often multiple pages long.

Still struggling to find a solution for the issue. :S

File Attachment(s):
project.zip (16kb) downloaded 280 time(s).

My example requires XSLT 2.0, so no, I don't have a suggestion how to do it using XSLT 1.0. Just use a XSLT 2.0 processor, instead.

Also, the XML schema you attached imports or includes many others, so please update your attachment zip archive to include them or attach as a PXF.
