Does any Altova product offer the import feature where the developer can fill a column in the target database with the result of a (scripting language) expression:

Quote:
Target..........................File to be imported
firstname.....................firstname
lastname.....................lastname
zipcode........................=left(zip,5)
company.....................="ACME WIDGETS"

The zipcode column is populated with the first five characters of the import file's [zip] column. The company column is populated with the arbitrary string literal "ACME WIDGETS".

Altova MapForce. Not with scripting language - it has very extensive built in function set.
