Getting login failed while connecting to SQL server Local instance Options · View

Tried connecting the local SQL server express 2014 instance to XMLSPY.

Always getting the same login failed error message even when the Connectivity test passes.

Any clue so as to resolve this issue would be welcomed.

You need to check the "Allow saving password" checkbox, so that your password will become part of connection string

Thanks, it worked.

Was marking default database, seems like we can select the database from the Database Query screen.
