Hi I am trying to convert a excel date field into xml date format

My excel date field something like this = 2019/05/31

.Xml (.xsd) display format should be like = 2019-05-31

really appreciate your thoughts on this

What about simply using the replace function to replace / with -

I have tried that way I get the error as follows

Conversion to date failed for '2019-08-08T16:24:31.906+01:00'

His string is clearly a datetime, not a date, so use date-from-datetime.
