I recently inherited some job duties, part of which includes maintaining mapforce mappings from EDI X12 811 to a database. Along with this I inherited a .xsd schema file that I was told to use with them. I placed this schema file in the same directory as the maps I'm using as otherwise I received an error stating that the file was missing.
My current issue is that there are several connections in the map that receive warnings because they are stated to be missing. Examples are in LoopHL F739_1 and F739_2. When I look at the input element in question, it only shows a single value, F739 (which seems strange, as for 811 there are two separate F739s, one for minutes and one for seconds).
I'm moderately certain this is a configuration issue, however I cannot pin it down and Google doesn't appear particularly successful at leading me to a resolution.
What am I doing wrong or what should I change?

First of all, I'd suggest you check that the X12 version that comes with your current MapForce version is the one you need (check this page http://manual.altova.com/Mapforce/mapforceenterprise/mffmapforceandedifact.htm ). If that is the case, you can download additional X12 versions from https://www.altova.com/components_mapforce.html.
Also, it may be that your mapping was previously using a custom EDI configuration. All the EDI configurations are stored in C:\Program Files (x86)\Altova\MapForce2017\MapForceEDI. If there were indeed some custom files, and if they are now missing from the directory above, this could be the reason for the warnings you are getting. In this case, try to obtain the previous custom EDI configuration folder, if possible. Otherwise, you will need to create again a custom X12 configuration (so that you get separate nodes for F739 fields). Here's some example of how to do that: http://manual.altova.com/Mapforce/mapforceenterprise/mffcustomizing_an_ansi_x12_transaction.htm
