Hi all,

When I am attempting to Assign a Scheme to an XML file I am getting an out of memory error.

I am opening the XML file (85MB), then attempting assign the schema. I get a dialogue box advising me that XML Spy needs to Parse the XML file and write it back, to which I reply OK. After a second or two it prompts me for the XSD file path / name which I select and hit OK. At this point I receive the Out Of Memory error.

Task manager is reporting 370GB free on the machine so I am confused as to why I am getting the out of memory error. Is there something in XML spy that could be set incorrectly causing this error?

I am using XML Spy 2016 SP1.

Thank you in advanced for any help.

Download 64 bit version from XMLSpy. A 32 bit is limited by Windows in how much memory it can use.
