[xsl] multiple source files map to multiple target files

I want to copy (map?) specific information from a number of source files
to a number of target files. I do have the names of the old files and
the matching names of the new files in a dBase. Is there a way that I
can do this with xsl without having to to this manually?
Platform - Windows XP, program - Stylus Studio - Is this enough info?
Thanks
Martina
