Hmmm... <strong-feeling>I think it exactly fits what the purpose of
this list is -- advancing the understanding and skills of those in
whom subscribe.  I could be wrong, but gaining a greater understanding
of XSLT through the help of others and having a place in which its
members can help one other become better programmers was the exact
reason this list was started.  Its obviously not for the advertising
dollars.

Having the courtesy to of course precede announcment posts with a
standard marking such that email readers can be preset to capture and
file such "ANNouncements" has become pretty standard amongst many
lists, including this one.  In fact its often you see announcements
for products that have a licensing fee associated with them make there
way across the list without so much a scoff. So to suggest that an
effort to help list members become better programmers and writers via
an open source, open license, non-ad supported, pay out of my own
pocket because the cost is minimal and the potential benefit high to
those in whom choose to use it stretches the remit of XSL-List (notice
the lack of the 't' given that this list supports both T and FO) is so
off base I'm not even sure this response post is worth the energy
spent writing it.  But its done and took all of about 14 seconds to
type so I guess I'll send it anyway
