Minimal change in your code
<p class="last"><xsl:apply-templates select="user_input/p"/>
 		<img src="/public/images/arrowRight.gif" alt="" width="8" height="8" title=""></img>
</p>
Changed "user_input" into "user_input/p"
This might or might not work, depending if the user input is multi-paragraph (the output might not
be the desired output using this code) or single-paragraph (it will work for sure)
