Stranger than fiction, there is (or at least was) just such a service
out there!

IIRC, someone set up so that you could submit an URL, and be sent 14 or
more different screenshots of the result on different platforms,
browsers and resolutions.
It was a subscription-based service a client referred me to early last
year, and looked bizarrely useful. However by that time we had our own
test suite set up, and I never investigated further.

I remember getting a mental picture of those machines all banked up in a
room somewhere, flicking through pages in unison... All the same, but
different ...

Many apologies, I've now been trawling the net and I can't for the life
of me find the URL again, but believe me, it's out there somewhere!
