I see only one, incidental, problem with your example, once you fix
that it should work:
<xs:element name="Element1" type="A.B" minOccurs="0"/> in AA
is not a restriction of
<xs:element name="B" type="typeA" minOccurs="0"/> in A
because the element names don't match (and you don't give the type defns).
What error message are you getting, from what processor?
