Are there any others > that are recommended? > It's easy enough to package up the Saxon serializer, which supports all the serialization options in XSLT 2.0 and more, and drive it either using SAX as the API, or a wrapper API of your own design. (The internal API is not very user-friendly, but it's very efficient.)
