I'm going to put an article about that up on xml.com shortly. Dan McCreary
was mentioning that you had covered this idea before but he didn't have a
link handy, but I think your idea is sound. An EXQuery standardization
library would go a long way towards reducing the balkanization that you see
right now in the XQuery space.
