Hi Mark,

> What is the basis for the question?

I often use "XML" in XHTML documents. I want to mark it up in the most
correct, semantic-rich way.

Thus, I would like to know whether "XML" is an abbreviation or an
acronym, and whether it is more accurate to mark it up like this:

    <abbr title="Extensible Markup Language">XML</abbr>

 or like this:

    <acronym title="Extensible Markup Language">XML</acronym>

/Roger
