As such it's largely of interest to XQuery implementors, but if you're thinking of using an XQuery implementation for which no results have been published, (or thinking of using it in a different environment from the one in which results were published, e.g. Saxon on .NET) then it will give you a feel for how complete the implementation is. It's also useful as a regression test if you use an open source implementation and make your own changes. Note that a 100% score doesn't prove the product is conformant, because the test suite steers clear of some areas where results are implementation-defined.
