JAXB seems quite inappropriate for this: you want a generic
XML format that can capture any table structure, not one that's
schema-specific.
I thought all the significant relational databases had such
utilities nowadays, so my answer would be to look first in the documentation of
your specific database product.

DataBase to XML
Can any one suggest
what is the best of archiving data base records to XML file? I want to archive
the database records into XML file and later point of time I have to retrieve
and store those records from XML file into Database.

I am
planning to use JAXB as JAXB is parser independent. Is there any other
efficient and easy way doing this? My priority is efficiency.
