If you expect anyone to believe such assertions, you need to back them up
with facts and state your sources.

(Of course, a qualifier on "customers" would help too (not to mention an
apostrophe). Some customers? All customers? Average customers? Customers I
met last week?)

And of course you would expect book sales to decline once a technology
becomes mainstream, just as you would expect the number of XML parsers in
the marketplace to decline as the weaker ones fall by the wayside.
