In case it can help prime the discussion more, those "new problem areas" 
cover (amongst *many* other things) the fact that devices in the 
laptop-to-server range are fast becoming a minority in a mobile Web 
world, and therefore some of the "many directions" in which XML is being 
pulled include several that at the very least mention binary XML.

Additionally, the TP takes place the day before and in the same location 
as the last meeting of the XML Binary Characterization WG and so 
provides the very last chance to provide feedback to that effort.
